Day 260 (Sat 24 Mar) - Wilsons Prom

It rained all night and it was quite chilly.

Stopped at a town called Foster - a real locals place. We are sure eveyone knew that we had arrived as we parked up but it was friendly enough.

Headed towards Wilsons Promontory National Park which is the southern most part of Australia. View as we speed along to Wilsons Prom.

The weather was pretty awful. Hard rain and powerful gusts.

There was nothing much we could do except sit in Rodney and admire the view. When the weather cleared sufficiently we could make out the small islands out to sea.

Waves pounding the coast.

Another brief break in the weather afforded great views

We'd decided to stay overnight in the national park. Later we headed back to find a site. Have a lovely dinner and whilst Jo was washing up the dishes Sarb heard a rustling round our campsite. Further investigation revealed a hungry wombat ( [1], [2])
