Day 251 (Thu 15 Mar) - Kuching / Kuala Lumpur
Packed our gear and walked through the quiet streets to the bus stop near the Post Office.
As we walked Sarb discovered that he still had the room key for the hotel so had to belt back to return it.
Waited for a few mins for our bus and were soon at the airport. Our flight left at 11.55am and we arrived at Kuala Lumpur at 1.20pm
Got a bus from the LCCT (Low Cost Carrier Terminal) to the international terminal. Our flight was not till 10.40pm this evening so we had loads of time to kill.
Spent the time wandering round the spotless airport, having a bit of grub and watching an Indian film crew filming a scene involving about 50 people. Quite entertaining.
Checked in our bags at 7.30pm where we had a long chat to the friendly check-in chap. He gave us some good seats in the 747; ones near the back, where the tail tapers, and only four seats across. Took the shuttle train and into the swanky airside part of the terminal.
Had a few drinks and before we knew it we were boarding.
Both watched some movies and slept a little.
