Day 259 (Fri 23 Mar) - Port Albert
After driving for a hour we had a worrying moment. The fuel was on empty and there was no petrol station in sight. Fortunately after travelling on vapour for half an hour we will able to fill up. Another problem was that Rodney's engine oil light kept coming on as we went up and down hills. Checked the manual and this can happen so felt happier.
Fueled up, view from Rodney as we motor along
Again stunning scenry as we drive along.
Stopped off at Orbost and popped into the Tourist informaton office.
Whilst Jo was driving in the afternoon the engine oil was really bothering her as it was now staying on all the time. We popped into a Toyota garage in Yarram. A really friendly guy filled us up and we were off agin.
Stopped at a campsite in Port Albert. Went for a walk. Jo by the coast.
Chef Sarb with todays' culinary wonder.
Later it started to rain (very heavily). Despite this, Jo still couldn't convince Sarb to let her drive to the toilet block. She was not impressed as it was cold too!
